Vacancy: Administrator

The Trust are seeking an experienced Administrator:

Administrator (part-time contract)

Hours: 21

Salary: £18 - 22,000 pro rata, depending on experience

Job Description

The role will include:

Supporting the Development Manager in carrying out their role.

Maintaining contact with the Trust’s members

Maintaining Members’ information and membership scheme

Preparing and issuing members’ on-line newsletter

Updating the Trust’s website

Checking invoices against purchase orders/quotes

Negotiating with suppliers and receiving deliveries

Greet and deal with visitors and callers in person, online and via telephone

Liaising with contractors and suppliers

Taking minutes of meetings including Trust Board

Arranging meetings as and when required

Monitoring the Trust’s public email address and dealing with post

Person Specification

Good all round administration skills

Understanding of website administration (training will be provided)

Excellent communication skills

Excellent IT skills including use of the Office suite including Excel, Word and Outlook

The ability to work as part of a small team will be essential

Experience in public and/or voluntary sector

The Administrator will report to the Development Manager
