About this Consultation
This consultation aimed to obtain the views and opinions of landlords, tenants, partners and other community members on the current HMO Amenity Standards adopted by the Council and assess whether amendments are necessary.
A variety of consultation methods were used including:
- Individuals and groups were contacted directly with electronic or hard copies of the consultation document as appropriate.
- All Bournemouth 2026 members were contacted.
- The consultation document was available on the website.
- A meeting was held with landlord representatives.
- There was a consultation stand at the 2010 Housing Forum Conference.
