About this Consultation

The 2008 Place Survey provided results which formed part of a Connecting Communities bid for Boscombe West.

Boscombe West scored poorly on a number of National Indicators and a Target Area Action Plan was put in place which aims to improve the area for residents.

The success of the Action Plan was to be measured in part by repeating these questions in the 2010 Place Survey. The results would also support a bid for further funding.

As the 2010 Place Survey was cancelled, a shortened postal survey was conducted in 2010 to gather comparable data on the 8 relevant National Indicators. The survey was posted to a sample of households in Boscombe West.

To continue to monitor progress another short postal survey was conducted in 2012 in Boscombe West.
