Bournemouth 2026 is a partnership that brings together hundreds of people from voluntary, community and faith organisations, private companies and public services work together to improve the lives of people who live, work and visit the town.
By working together organisations can pool resources and expertise to achieve our goals.
In 2006 the partnership was consulted on a 20 year vision for Bournemouth. The partnership was renamed as Bournemouth 2026 to remind partners that we are all working towards this vision.
Our Aims are to:
Government define Bournemouth 2026 as a Local Strategic Partnership (LSP). Every local authority area must have a LSP. Statutory public sector partners have a legal duty to work together on targets set out in a Local Area Agreement.
There is also a duty to consult and work with the community and voluntary sector.
To be part of this exciting partnership and help make Bournemouth a better place... Join Bournemouth 2026.
