Bournemouth 2026 has established a Third Sector Strategic Development Partnership to develop a Third Sector Strategy, coordinate and monitor an action plan. The partnership also monitors the performance of one of our LAA targets NI 7 Environment for a Thriving Third Sector. This target is measured through a national survey of third sector organisations.
The Third Sector Strategic Development Partnership reflects at a local level the universal acknowledgment of the crucial role of a vibrant, diverse and independent third sector.

The Role of Third Sector Innovation:
Personalisation of Education and Learning Services
This is the second report from the Cabinet Office's advisor on third sector innovation, Anne McGuire. It recognises the role of the third sector in delivering personalised learning opportunities, either in its own right or in partnership with schools and colleges. It also highlights the important role the third sector plays in driving forward innovation in this sector, informing, supporting, shaping and stimulating service improvement and redesign.
