What we do	Bankruptcy-Insolvency.co.uk provide a freephone telephone adviceline and online resource that provides help and relieve stress for people in the community. The overall aim is to improve the quality of life of people who have debt or money difficulties and prevent bankruptcy and poverty. On a day-to-day basis the organisation can: Via the freephone telephone advice service; listen and give consideration to what the client would like to do and then identify the appropriate debt solution to clients which will enable action to be taken to help them, for example with ongoing budgeting or debt counselling. Speak to the households of identified individuals/families to carry out duties and tasks designed to enable a good degree of debt free living – for example, assist the client organise an arrangement to reduce debts over time. The nationwide service covers Bournemouth and across Dorset since the social policy team at Bankruptcy-Insolvency.co.uk identified the area as overburdened with personal debt and poverty issues. The advice team specialise in supporting people with long-term debt problems. They help them deal with money issues by developing budgeting skills rather than hiding from personal debts or filing bankruptcy. The service is confidential and non-judgemental. The service provides self-help advice to its callers and also produces written self-help packs and fact sheets to back this up. The service can also assist callers with the setting up of, Budget plans, Individual Voluntary Arrangements (IVA) Debt Management Plans and Bankruptcy for England, Wales & Scotland. Please note that whilst initial advice is free, professional fees and court costs may be payable depending on the solution provided.
