| What we do |
There are two programs currently running; ‘Anarchy Arts’, a NEET prevention project that teaches disengaged young people (14-18) the art of events management and free monthly arts workshops targeting vulnerable children age 5-12. Workshops offer respite to parents who wish to return to work but cannot due to lack of funds to pay for childcare. Both programs offer young people access to the Arts Award, a nationally accredited scheme and help children develop leadership skills, build confidence and self esteem and open doors to further education, employment and new business in the creative sector. Creative Kids work supports the artists of today whilst nurturing the arts community of tomorrow.

| Contribution to Partnership | Creative Kids can help deliver the following aims for Bournemouth 2026: 1) Safer and Stronger Communities – our programs in performance arts and arts and crafts will target children and young people with anti social behavioural issues, our activities and cultural events will celebrate diversity, reduce crime, increase positive perceptions of young people, increase involvement, reduce bullying and promote positive role modelling. 2) Sustainable Environment: Our events will use green and urban spaces for community and cultural activity and help reduce litter, graffiti and mess with diversionary arts projects. Creative Kids plan to work in partnership with the Youth Offenders Team & Police to reduce anti social behaviour in public spaces. 3) Health and Wellbeing – Reducing obesity by increasing physical activity, confidence and self esteem through our sport and arts programs in schools, holiday clubs and youth clubs. |
