What we do	We contribute to the Bournemouth Community Plan by: - Promoting a positive image for Bournemouth (Community Objective - CO1) by encouraging refurbishment of the South's premier concert hall ,the Winter Gardens. We believe that no "premier" resort can be without a cultural centre. - Helping to increase the number of people taking part in cultural and recreational activities particularly with local children in arts and music. - Involving ourselves in educational projects and work with other local churches in Community Schemes. - Being Members of various bodies dedicated to improving social conditions, law and order, racial issues, etc. - Helping those with problems to have a "voice". - Being a Member of the Bournemouth Citizens' Panel. - Encouraging respect for others, properties and cemeteries. - Promoting local broadcasting (Community Radio and others).
Contribution to Partnership	We provide source of orthodox Christian worship in vernacular. Available for visitors from orthodox countries (tourists, business people and students), as well as local people. We provide help through direct counselling and referral. Education: We help schools, colleges & universities with projects - understanding minorities & assemblies Arts and culture: We have a collection of icons from various traditions. (These are religious artefacts but have artistic merits/interest). Ministry of healing: We work with homeless, mental patients, in animal welfare, are involved with social issues etc and visit hospitals and homes.
