What we do	We will work towards the achievement of the Community Plan by promoting volunteering and link with a range of other organisations to enhance the quality of life in Bournemouth through development of appropriate services and projects which address local need and contribute to social inclusion. We seek to disseminate information to the voluntary and community sector and to enable representation in strategic and consultative processes.
Contribution to Partnership	Bournemouth Council for Voluntary Service is a Registered Charity which works to: - help individuals and groups to identify and articulate their needs; - promote and support volunteering; - enable representation of the Voluntary Sector; - support the development of a thriving local Voluntary and Community Sector; be a catalyst for visible outcomes and contribute to building skills in the Community to undertake other work in the future; - support and promote local voluntary action; - enable local groups and communities to engage effectively in partnerships to meet social and economic needs; - be a resource centre; - develop direct services (e.g. Shopmobility, Bournemouth Accessible Transport).
