Vision 3.2 The fear of crime is appropriate to the risk and people feel safe
Goals for 2011:
Reduce crime, particularly through positive action against alcohol misuse
Reduce fear and distress associated with excessive drinking and drug taking
Improve the containment of sex offenders in the community
Empower victims and witnesses to come forward
Support resident’s, community groups and neighbourhood watches to strengthen the ability of local communities to prevent crime
Increase the number of people who are aware of what is being done to tackle crime and anti-social behaviour
