What we do	LINks is making a difference in helping to improve health and social care services by ensuring that what matters most to patients and the public is focussed upon; and that their views are listened to and taken into account. Bournemouth LINk has forged good communications with local providers and commissioners of services and provide meaningful feedback from patients and the public.
Contribution to Partnership	LINks are an independent Local Involvement Networks of groups and people who really want to help improve local health and Social Care Services. LINks have legal powers to help them do that. Each Local authority with a responsibility for Social Care in England has made provision for the establishment of a LINk. Bournemouth LINk is supported by a host organisation, Help and Care. One of LINks aims is to make sure your opinion about how local services are planned and developed is listened to and then taken into account. Bournemouth LINk exists to help everyone find their voice when it comes to having a say about your services e.g. GP’s home care services, hospitals, dentists, opticians, residential care, outpatients clinics, maternity services.
